Old Flashlight DIY’s

When our dinosaur flashlight finally died the other day, my dad and I thought of a crafts we could make with it. I will be showing you two ways to use your old big flashlight.

1.)

A valuables safe. This is super simple and a good way to hide some valuables.

First, remove the top.

Then, take out the bulb.

After doing this, you will notice a colossal battery which you must also remove.

Next, simply place desired valuables into the now-empty flashlight.

Replace the bulb and lid, and your flashlight will look completely normal, although it really houses some things a bit more useful than that dead battery.

2.)

Flashlight mug. This one is a little more tricky than the first one. You will start the same way, by removing everything.

Then, you’ll wash the flashlight.

Then, remove the metal components.

You will want to use some sort of glue to attach the button so no liquids can leak out.

Next, replace the black ring on top, which you should also wash.

Fill with favorite drink and enjoy! Be somewhat careful, though. I seriously doubt that this is BPA free.
