This one is a bit cliche, but it still has value. Joshua tells the people: “If you are unwilling to follow God, then chose today whom you will serve. But as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.”
And I write it as “LORD” instead of “Lord” because they have different meanings. People may call a king or a knight “My Lord,” but its just a title. “LORD” means “promise maker; promise keeper.”
We know that God always keeps his promises. Isn’t that comforting?
